Curation and Exhibitions

Exhibiting in the third-year group exhibition, Margaret Street, - December 2018

  • I worked collaboratively with my fellow students, we presented ‘Naught’- our show. We organised and curated the space, exhibiting our work thus far in the foyer and main gallery

  • I learnt the importance of presentation, how to interpret the needs of other artists and how to fully understand how they wished their work to be perceived

  • We critiqued our work and discussed ways of improving it for our final year show

Organising and curating first year show, - December 2016

  • As part of a small team, we visited various venues, then sourced and organised the show: ‘Into the Dark’, at the Menier Gallery, London

  • We were responsible for the logistics of transporting the exhibits, equipment and catering for the private view within budget constraints

  • We curated the exhibition, helping to organise the placement of the student’s art, liaising with the artists and tutors
